Fire at National Hangeul Museum, No Damage to Collection Storage

A fire broke out at the National Hangeul Museum in Seoul, but fortunately, there were no casualties or damage to the storage area containing valuable artifacts. The museum has been closed since last October for renovation and plans to reopen by Hangeul Day (October 9). Despite the fire, the museum continues its efforts to promote Korean script and culture, while one firefighter was injured during the extinguishing process.
