The Edinburgh sensation 'Concerned Others' will be showing in Seoul's Daehangno Theater Quad from June 12-15. It is based on interviews around real-life drug addiction experiences and explores themes of communal pain and silence. Tickets can be applied for via the arte website until June 9, with winners being announced on June 10. Other must-see cultural events include the opera 'Carmen' presented by Gloria Opera Company at the Seoul Arts Center Opera Theater from June 6-8, detailing the downfall of Don José due to his obsession with the gypsy woman Carmen. The play 'Kill Me Now' will run at Seoul’s Chungmu Arts Center from June 6 to August 17, focusing on the life of 'Joey', a disabled young man, and his father who sacrifices his writing career to care for him. There's also the art exhibition 'Floating Lines' featuring works by four female artists at S2A in Daechi-dong, Seoul, until July 5. The exhibit captures the ever-changing forms and moments of life through the concept of 'lines'. Additionally, there are intriguing reads including a movie column about 'The Dance After You Left', examining a husband's emotional journey through dance after the loss of his wife; and a music article on Charlie Jung's East Asian inspired jazz and blues guitar compositions available in Korea.
