Starbucks Korea has opened its first 'family-friendly' store in Sejong City, named the Sejong Arts Center Store. This new concept includes a family lounge for customers visiting with children, children's activity spaces, and cultural books available for a wider range of customers to enjoy. The store features a spacious design with stroller-friendly paths, 172 seats, and a creative area for children to decorate tumblers with coloring tools. Starbucks plans to expand such family-friendly stores in the future.
Sejong City is a planned city in South Korea being developed to gradually become the country's administrative center, similar to Washington D.C. in the United States.
