The 24th UNIMA Congress and Chuncheon International Puppet Festival, featuring the renowned puppet art market 'Fantastic Puppet Show', concluded successfully at Chuncheon KT&G Sangsang Madang, reaching a distribution scale of approximately 20 billion won (South Korean currency). The festival was attended by over 3,000 participants, including festival organizers and cultural art institution representatives from 60 countries. The puppet art market served as the sole platform in Korea for domestic and international puppet creators and groups to showcase their works and seek distribution opportunities. This year's distribution achievement was more than 2.5 times higher than the previous year. Various domestic and international puppetry teams operated booths, introducing their unique creations and facilitating international exchanges. The event included evaluation programs where marketers and audiences directly participated in judging the works. At the UNIMA Congress, new executive members were elected, and around 200 UNIMA members and international art organization representatives visited cultural spots like Chuncheon Nami Island.
