The Fourth Frieze Seoul: A Convergence of Global Art Galleries

The Frieze Seoul art fair will take place from September 3 to 6 at COEX in Seoul, featuring participation from over 120 galleries across 30 countries. This major art event will focus largely on galleries based in Korea and other prominent Asian galleries. The main section will include participation from notable galleries such as Arario Gallery and Gallery Hyundai from Korea, and Antenna Space from China, among others. Additionally, global galleries like David Zwirner and Hauser & Wirth will also be part of the event. A special 'Night' event will keep gallery doors open late in the culturally rich areas of Euljiro, Hannam-dong, Cheongdam-dong, and Samcheong-dong. Patrick Lee, the director of Frieze Seoul, emphasizes the fair's role in bridging the Korean and international art scenes, expanding its influence beyond COEX to various parts of Seoul.
