Ballerina Jo Yeon-jae Promoted to Principal Dancer at the Korean National Ballet

Jo Yeon-jae has been promoted to a principal dancer at the Korean National Ballet. Since joining in 2018 as part of the corps de ballet, she has quickly risen through the ranks due to her exceptional performances in lead roles, including 'The Nutcracker' and 'Giselle'. Jo has won several prestigious dance awards and was the leading role in the Korean premiere of John Neumeier's 'The Little Mermaid'. The promotion is expected to bring even more mature and perfect performances from her. Additionally, Jung Eun-ji has been promoted to demi-soloist after joining the company in 2021.
