Choreographer Kim Yong-gul and Ballerino Jeon Min-chul Join Forces for Two Performances

Choreographer Kim Yong-gul and ballerino Jeon Min-chul, who share a teacher-student relationship, will showcase two performances in February. The first, 'Piano Pas de deux - Dancing with Pierrot', will be held on February 9 at the Universal Art Center. The second, 'An Evening with Franz Liszt', part of the M Ballet Series by the Mapo Cultural Foundation, will take place on February 14. Kim Yong-gul, a former principal dancer of the Korean National Ballet and the first Asian to join the Paris Opera Ballet as a soloist, has become a leading figure in contemporary Korean ballet. Jeon Min-chul, a rising ballet star, is set to join the Russian Mariinsky Ballet. Their collaborative performances combine music and dance, with the second featuring new choreography set to compositions by the Romantic composer Franz Liszt.
