Ddeunbong Spring and Su-Bun Village, located in Jangsu County, the source of Geumgang River, have been selected as ecotourism attractions for June in South Korea. This area, on the slopes of Sinmusan mountain, hosts 1,348 wildlife species including endangered wild plants and animals like the three-pronged helmet flower and flying squirrels. Su-Bun Village was established in 1866 by Catholic believers fleeing persecution, and it houses the second oldest hanok (traditional Korean house) Catholic chapel in Korea, known as Su-Bun Residence. Ecotourism information about Ddeunbong Spring and Su-Bun Village can be found on the Ministry of Environment's ecotourism website (eco-tour.kr) or Jangsu County's tourism webpage (jangsu.go.kr/tour).
