The organizing committee for the 2025 Yeongdong World Gugak (traditional Korean music) Expo hosted a familiarization tour where 41 leaders from the Gugak community traveled from Seoul to Yeongdong in a special tourist train called the 'Gugak Wine Train'. This exclusive train, operated in cooperation with Korail, offers light performances and wine service onboard. Upon arrival, participants visited local sites such as a winery and Wolryubong peak. The tour was designed to showcase how traditional Korean music tourism can be experienced, with plans for similar events during the Gugak Expo period in September and October. The event was attended by key figures including Yoon Young-dal, co-chair of the Expo and chairman of Crown Haitai Confectionery.
