The National Gugak Center in Korea is hosting a special performance called 'Da-Dam' on the 28th to celebrate the beauty of the Korean language. This event will feature a blend of traditional Korean music and discussions led by Jeong Jae-hwan, a renowned advocate for the Korean language. Jeong, who began his career in broadcasting in 1979, has been dedicated to promoting the Korean language since his mid-thirties, founding the Hangul Culture Association in 2000. The event coincides with King Sejong's birthday, aiming to emphasize the significance of Hangul, the Korean script. It will be hosted by former KBS announcer Hwang Soo-kyung.
