A South Korean orthopedic doctor, Bae Seung-ho, explores and documents historical rock inscriptions across the country. His book 'The History That Seems Like Only I Know' presents findings from 110 locations, revealing historical narratives linked to notable figures and events such as King Jeongjo's award to a concubine of Crown Prince Sado. Bae's passion for these inscriptions showcases hidden historical insights and has grown from hobby to expertise, despite the challenges of accessing some sites. Bae continues to plan further explorations, including traces of Korean reformists found in Japan.
