Walking for Charity: McDonald's Happy Walk Attracts 5000 Participants

On May 25, McDonald's Korea hosted the '2025 McDonald's Happy Walk' at Peace Square in Seoul's World Cup Park, engaging 5000 people in a charity walk. This family-focused event, part of McDonald's social contribution program, allows participants to stroll together and donate for a good cause. The event raised approximately 216 million KRW (around 162,500 USD) for RMHC Korea, supporting families with critically ill children. Actor Yoo Seung-ho, serving as ambassador, participated and contributed by visiting Ronald McDonald House and donating 10 million KRW. Besides the charity walk, attendees enjoyed family talent shows and product samples from partner booths. The event also invited 100 children from local child welfare centers as part of the 'Burger of Happiness' campaign, which provides meals to underprivileged children.
