Chungnam Promotes Cultural and Tourism Content in Taiwan

Chungnam Province, South Korea, participated in the first Korean Travel Expo in Taipei, Taiwan to introduce its local tourism resources. They organized a joint promotional booth with local organizations to promote tourism for the upcoming '2025-2026 Chungnam Visit Year.' Interactive programs like a quiz featuring Taiwanese creators and experiencing crafting a Baekje golden crown (a traditional Korean royal headpiece) attracted Taiwanese attendees. They also highlighted various seasonal travel courses, culinary experiences, festivals, and marine leisure activities tailored to Taiwanese interests. The event aims to increase awareness and allure of Chungnam's cultural and tourism prospects among Taiwanese visitors, who form the third-largest group of inbound tourists to Korea.
