The Berlin Philharmonic, led by Kirill Petrenko, will return to Seoul after two years for a series of performances at the Seoul Arts Center (예술의전당) in November. Petrenko, the twelfth Chief Conductor since the 2019/20 season, will conduct a program featuring classical and contemporary works, with collaboration from pianist Sunwook Kim. Highlights include performances of Schumann’s Piano Concerto and Brahms Symphony No. 1, as well as a more adventurous program with works by Janáček, Bartók, and Stravinsky.
