Cultural Enrichment through Fishing with Munhwanuri Card for Low-Income Families in Korea

Starting February 3, low-income individuals in Korea can enjoy fishing activities using the Munhwanuri Card, a government initiative to expand cultural experiences. The card, backed by lottery funds, offers discounts for various cultural and recreational activities, including movies, sports, and fishing. This year, 2.64 million people will receive 140,000 KRW each to use by the end of 2024. The initiative aims to enhance cultural participation among low-income groups, with notable additions like fishing and Go (a traditional board game) as new partner activities.
