With the rise in raw material costs and the effects of currency fluctuations, coffee prices are increasing in South Korea. Leading coffee brands like Maxim and Kanu are set to raise their prices by up to 9% due to higher costs for imported materials like coffee beans. Franchise cafes including Angel-in-us and Twosome Place are also hiking prices for their coffee products by 100-300 KRW, aligning them closer to Starbucks' pricing. This trend is affecting both premium and budget coffee brands, with changes rolling out progressively across various channels.
