South Korea's Space Agency Accelerates Technology Transfer of Nuri Rocket to Hanwha Aerospace

Yoon Young-bin, head of South Korea's Space Agency, announced plans to finalize a technology transfer agreement with Hanwha Aerospace for the Korean launch vehicle, the Nuri rocket, by the first half of the year. This move aims to promote a private space industry in South Korea. The agency also plans to make rockets reusable by the mid-2030s and aims for a 90% success rate in launches to compete in the global market. Efforts are underway to develop Mars exploration plans, with a goal to launch an orbiter by 2035 and an unmanned lander by 2045.
