Iksan City in South Korea is launching a recruitment to find the best local restaurants to promote regional food culture as a tourism asset. Restaurants that have been operating for over a year and use local agricultural products are invited to apply by downloading the application form from the city's website and submitting it to the hygiene department by November 18. Selected restaurants will receive various benefits including expert consulting, marketing materials, and support for facility improvement. The initiative aims to develop a distinctive local cuisine and attract more tourists to the city. The announcement of selected restaurants will take place at the 'NS Food Festa 2025 in Iksan' in September next year, showcasing Iksan's culinary excellence nationwide.
