Increase in Field Vegetables Leads to Stable Prices for Lettuce, Perilla Leaves, and Onions

As the supply of field vegetables increases, agricultural product prices in Korea are stabilizing. According to the price prediction system 'Terran' by FarmAir and Hankyung, 15 out of 22 top-traded vegetables saw price drops within a week. Particularly, prices for lettuce, perilla leaves, and onions have significantly decreased. For instance, lettuce fell by 42.8% compared to the previous week. These shifts align with typical patterns, where prices are lowest during May-June and October-November due to increased harvest volumes. However, prices of some items like garlic and potatoes have seen notable increases compared to last year.
