E-Land Eats is accelerating the expansion of its franchise business focusing on dining franchises 'Bangung' and 'Teru'. In the first half of this year, the company plans to open several new stores in key areas of the Seoul metropolitan area and other regions. On May 22, E-Land Eats will open a new 'Bangung' store in Garak, Seoul, featuring traditional Korean dishes such as grilled fish and sohtbab (rice cooked in a pot). 'Bangung' now operates one directly-managed store and 25 franchise locations, having opened several new stores in April and May. 'Teru', a casual Japanese brand offering handmade tonkatsu and fusion rice bowls, continues to open franchise stores as well. The company aims to create a healthy franchise culture through thorough market analysis and new store openings.
