Woowa Brothers, the company behind Baemin (a popular food delivery service in Korea), has announced a user interface (UI) update to eliminate repetitive exposure of the same stores and help customers find their desired shops more easily. The update, starting from April 1, will merge the current 'food delivery' and 'shop delivery' tabs into one unified 'food delivery' tab. This change aims to streamline customer access and enhance convenience by consolidating delivery methods under one tab. Additionally, Baemin will end its 'Ultra Call' fixed-price advertising product by April, which was criticized for causing fierce competition among restaurant owners. Woowa Brothers CEO, Kim Beom-seok, stated their mission is to simplify the ordering process, making it convenient and cost-effective for customers.
