The 37th Chuncheon Mime Festival is set to commence on the 25th of May, transforming various locations in Chuncheon into stages of mime performances. This festival combines elements like water, fire, flowers, and light to create unique artistic experiences. Highlights include the opening ceremony 'Ah! Water! Arena', where citizens actively participate in the festival themed around water, providing a refreshing break from daily stress. Various programs such as workshops and forums will explore the art of mime and connect it with community innovation. Unique performances will take place in everyday spaces like schools and hospitals, engaging citizens with spontaneous mime acts. The iconic 'Dokkaebi (goblin) Fiasco' will conclude the festival with all-night performances from 2 PM to the next morning at the Lego Land Korea Resort. In total, 37 teams, including international artists, will perform across four stages. The festival aims to cultivate a sustainable cultural ecosystem through partnerships and diverse content offerings.
