Foreign Tourists Spend an Average of 6.2 Days in Busan

A recent survey by Busan Tourism Organization revealed that foreign tourists visiting Busan typically stay for an average of 6.2 days. The study, conducted from July to December 2023, included 1060 visitors from various nationalities. Japanese tourists had the shortest stay at 4.6 days, while Russians stayed the longest, averaging 9.3 days. The cost per tourist in Busan was estimated at $828.4. Visitors mostly enjoyed the city's natural scenery, food tours, shopping, and leisure activities. The friendliness of staff and safety received high satisfaction scores, whereas diversity and pricing of food recorded the lowest.
