The Daegu Kansong Art Museum has refreshed its permanent exhibition, showcasing 32 pieces from the Joseon Dynasty, including works by prominent artists like Gyeomjae Jeong Seon, Danwon Kim Hong-do, and Hyewon Shin Yun-bok. This exhibition, running until September, features landscapes, portraits, and calligraphy that embody the essence of Korean art. Highlights include Jeong Seon's 'Geumgangnaesan', known for its depiction of Mount Geumgang, and Kim Hong-do's 'Guryongyeon', capturing a waterfall amid rugged cliffs. The exhibition offers a deep dive into Korea's artistic roots and the aesthetics of the Joseon era, with a focus on nature, people, and calligraphy. Additionally, a separate exhibition hall presents Jo Hee-ryong's 'Maehwaseook', a work reflecting the painter's emotional and artistic sensibility. The exhibition continues alongside a special project 'Hwa Jomi Gam'.
