Korean Art Auction Features Park Soo-keun’s Iconic Work

Park Soo-keun's famous 1964 painting, 'Girl with a Baby on Her Back,' is set to be auctioned with a starting price of 750 million KRW (Korean Won). This artwork represents the essence of Park's style, known for its thick texture and use of limited colors. The auction, organized by K-Auction, features 112 pieces including works by international artists like Yayoi Kusama and an 18th-century Josun Dynasty Moon Jar, a type of Korean white porcelain, estimated at 3.5 to 8 billion KRW. The pieces will be on free display until auction day, May 28th.
