Severe Rain Leads to Cancellation of Seoul Rose Festival Opening Ceremony

Heavy rain in Seoul caused the cancellation of the opening ceremony for the Jungnang-gu Seoul Rose Festival, originally scheduled for May 16th. Due to the increased river levels, the planned events, including performances by popular singers Song Ga-in and Wink, as well as a walking event and a rose parade, were fully canceled to ensure safety. Authorities are advising attendees near the waterways to relocate to safer areas.
