The Mudeung Ulim Festival, themed 'The Place Where Mountains and Sea Meet', will take place on October 24-25 around Mudeungsan and Unlim-dong areas in Gwangju. The festival highlights a blend of traditional and modern performance arts, and cultural exchange between Gwangju and Hokkaido, Japan. Opening performances include unique acts such as 'piano virtuoso' Go Young-yeol and the 'ukulele pansori' by Hwang Aeri. Various experiences like traditional Korean music, pottery making, and food trucks will be available along with workshops on Japanese taiko drumming led by Randanbyo (Ranbyoshi). It invites both locals and visitors to enjoy a rich cultural experience.
