Consumers are flocking to "Meokkaebi," a public delivery app in partnership with local governments offering low delivery fees in Jeju Island, South Korea. The app saw orders rise by 431% in April compared to the previous year. "Meokkaebi" charges only 3000 won (approximately $2.50) for delivery, which is fully subsidized by Jeju Island for one order per day under the '3GO Challenge' campaign. This initiative also provides a 15% cashback incentive. The app's growth has led to an increase in partnered restaurants and users. "Meokkaebi" collaborates with 12 regions across the country.
