Rosé from Blackpink has set a new record for K-pop female artists with her song 'APT.', reaching 3rd place on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This marks the highest achievement for any K-pop female singer on this chart. Released in October of last year, 'APT.' initially entered the chart at 8th place. The song also maintains 2nd position on the UK Official Singles Chart and became the first K-pop song to top Billboard's Pop Airplay chart, which tracks weekly radio plays. Previously, the highest rank on Pop Airplay by a K-pop artist was 5th, achieved by BTS's 'Dynamite'.
