The Seoul International Travel Fair (SITF) organizing committee has established the '2025 SITF Eminent Tourism Pioneer Award,' marking the event's 40th anniversary. The inaugural awards ceremony will take place on June 5th at Coex, Seoul. The award, likened to the Nobel Prize in tourism, honors individuals for their contributions to the industry. This year, 7 recipients were chosen, including 3 from South Korea and 4 international leaders in tourism. The initiative aims to foster sustainable growth and community reinvestment within the tourism sector.
