Anna Park, a Korean-American artist originally from Daegu, holds her first solo exhibition 'Good Girl' at Leeahn Gallery in Daegu until June 28. The 27-year-old artist has gained international recognition, especially after KAWS, a renowned contemporary pop artist, praised her work in 2019. Park participated in creating the poster for David Fincher’s film 'Mank', and her exhibitions in New York and Tokyo were sold out. Her works critique the idealized images of women in media, aiming to portray women as independent and vividly dimensional. Park utilizes traditional Korean paper (hanji) and charcoal to create a striking contrast highlighting societal expectations of women.
