Paejae University Wins Top Prizes at Korea Challenge Cup International Cooking Competition

Paejae University (located in Daejeon, South Korea) announced that its Department of Culinary Arts recently won the grand prize and six gold medals at the 2025 Korea Challenge Cup International Cooking Competition. A team called 'Cooking with Faces,' composed of students Ahn Jae-ho, Lee Ji-won, Kim Ji-woo, Hong Seung-hyeon, and Lee Eun-sang, took the top honor for their entry in the live cooking category, presenting dishes like gravlax, sous-vide duck breast steak, and lemon yogurt panna cotta. Other students also secured six gold medals in various exhibition categories with their creative dishes.
