After a hiatus due to marriage and childbirth, soprano Kang Jung-won will return to the stage for a recital at Yeong-san Art Hall in Seoul. She will perform classical pieces along with a classical interpretation of the Korean folk song Arirang. The concert aims to bridge the gap between classical music and the audience by using familiar Korean elements. Kang gained attention after winning first place in the vocal category at the International Competition in Brussels in her 40s, and continues to impress with her performances.
