Daegu Dalseong County has introduced Bisle Bookshop, an innovative healing space where visitors can enjoy reading amidst nature. Located within the Biseulsan Natural Recreation Forest, this unmanned bookshop will begin a trial operation on the 20th, with a formal opening scheduled for June. Built using eco-friendly domestic timber, the bookshop blends seamlessly into the forest landscape. It provides a welcoming environment for both camping and recreation site visitors as well as the general public.
Featuring a variety of books like popular comics, latest webtoon editions, and children's literature, the space caters to diverse audiences. Its unmanned operation style allows easy access without reservation, making it an accessible stop for those on hikes or camping trips. Dalseong County Mayor Choi Jae-hoon highlighted that Bisle Bookshop is designed to offer a unique experience of reading surrounded by nature's beauty and hopes it will provide a healing escape while promoting the joy of reading among local residents.
The bookshop is expected to appeal to families and individuals seeking a tranquil retreat in nature.
