In the arts category, cellist Yang Seong-won was honored for promoting Korean culture globally through his profound musical performances. The Lee Tae-seok Foundation was acknowledged in the socio-cultural category for its humanitarian efforts, continuing the legacy of Father Lee Tae-seok, a missionary doctor. The awards ceremony will be held on October 30th in Seoul, with each recipient receiving a prize of 100 million won (Korean currency).
