Sancheok Hajang Dutasan Wild Vegetable Festival Opens

The 12th Sancheok Hajang Dutasan Wild Vegetable Festival has begun in Sancheok city, Hajang-myeon, Beoncheon-ri at the Baekdudaegan Clean Forest Products Complex Experience Center. Mayor Park Sang-soo of Sancheok is engaging in the traditional 'Tteok-mechigi' (a Korean rice cake pounding activity). The festival showcases and sells wild vegetables, medicinal herbs, and specialty products produced from the clean highlands of Hajang-myeon. The festival runs until May 11th.
