The renowned contemporary artist David Salle is holding his first major retrospective in Korea, titled 'Under One Roof,' at the Storage by Hyundai Card in Itaewon, Seoul, which opened on September 10th. This exhibition spans Salle's 50-year career and presents over 40 works, including his famous 'Tree of Life' series and new 'Windows' series, featuring paintings, videos, animations, and NFTs. Salle is known as a part of the 'Pictures Generation,' a group of artists from the 1970s and 80s who critically explored visual language in the media age. The exhibition is divided into three sections, showcasing his evolution as an artist who blends traditional painting with modern digital media. It runs until September 7th.
