Art Busan 2025: 'Towards' Series Sells Out, Gallery Hyundai Draws Crowds

On the first day of 'Art Busan 2025' at BEXCO in Busan, Gallery Hyundai featured the new collection by artist Kim Bohee titled 'Towards'. All 12 pieces, a collaboration between Gallery Hyundai and Kim Bohee, were sold out immediately, totaling over 1 billion KRW (approximately 750,000 USD) in sales. Kim Bohee's artworks, known for merging Eastern and Western art styles, depict landscapes with a meditative quality. Her experimental approach combines traditional Korean painting techniques with various materials like canvas and mulberry paper to create deep layers of color. The event, which involves 108 galleries from 17 countries, runs until November 11. Kim Bohee’s work has captivated many visitors, leading to inquiries about future collaborations.
