Audeum Museum Named One of the 'World's Most Beautiful Museums'

The Audeum, an audio museum in South Korea designed by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, has been selected as one of the 'World's Most Beautiful Museums' as announced by the Versailles Prize under UNESCO. The museum's design emphasizes sensory elements like light, wind, scent, and sound, crafted with aluminum pipes and wood. The Versailles Prize, established in 2015, focuses on modern architectural works considering innovation, creativity, local heritage integration, ecological efficiency, and social interaction. Audeum, opened in June 2022 in Seoul, offers free visits with prior reservation and has attracted over 17,000 visitors.
