Ulsan City Receives Presidential Citation for 'Food Culture Improvement'

Ulsan has been recognized as the top institution in the '2025 Food Culture Improvement Project' and will receive a presidential citation at the Food Safety Day celebration. The project, overseen by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, evaluates food hygiene practices across 17 provinces in Korea, focusing on spreading hygiene grading, promoting safe dining environments, and establishing clean food culture. Ulsan's initiatives included creating a specialized hygiene zone called 'Ulsan Grand Park Byeolchunji Gourmet Street,' expert consulting for food poisoning prevention, and operating designated 'Safe Restaurants.'
