According to a report in the British Daily Mail, David Rosen, an American sleep medicine specialist, asserts that sleeping naked can naturally lower body temperature, aiding in the balanced secretion of sleep-promoting hormones like melatonin. This may enhance sleep quality and reduce the risk of genital infections, such as candidiasis, a fungal infection caused by Candida. Although there are benefits to sleeping naked, elderly, infants, and those with cardiovascular diseases are advised against it due to poor temperature regulation. The study indicated that around 20% of British people practice sleeping naked, with higher percentages of men doing so than women.
