Artist Choe Young-sik presents a solo exhibition at Gaenari Art Center in Chuncheon until November 11. The exhibition showcases the traditional themes of 'Mae-nan-song-juk'—plum blossom, orchid, pine tree, and bamboo—reinterpreted in a modern context. Choe, who started his career studying under Master Park Geon-seo in 1973, presents works that blend these elements harmoniously on canvas, aiming to depict an idealized utopia. Visitors can experience the serene and profound spirit of traditional East Asian painting through Choe's artworks.
