Luxury Bingsu Competition Among Hotels in Korea Heats Up

As the weather gets warmer, luxury hotel bingsu (a Korean shaved ice dessert) market competition has intensified. Four Seasons Hotel Seoul has launched two signature premium bingsus: Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu, priced at 149,000 KRW, and Maru Bingsu at 89,000 KRW. The Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu utilizes premium Jeju apple mangoes and is enhanced with elderflower liqueur and innovative culinary techniques for a rich tropical flavor. The Maru Bingsu, inspired by traditional Korean red bean dessert, offers a modern twist with milk ice, homemade red bean paste, and matcha cream. Both can be experienced together as a Combo Bingsu with a discount. Simultaneously, Seoul Shilla Hotel has introduced their Apple Mango Bingsu at 110,000 KRW, showcasing their summer specialty.
