Dongsuh Foods is inviting participants for the '2025 Kanu Barista Championship,' with applications open until the 23rd. The competition aims to showcase the expertise of the coffee brand 'Kanu' and promote coffee culture in Korea. Open to South Korean nationals over 18, the preliminary round will occur from July 14-18 in Seoul, judging Espresso and Americano categories. The finals will be held on September 27-28 in Central City, Seoul. Judges include renowned coffee experts like 2023 World Barista Champion Eom Boram. The winner receives a 30 million won prize (approximately $22,500 USD) and a trophy.
