The 8th GoChang Clam Festival has begun in Simwon Fishing Village of GoChang-gun, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea. The festival spans three days during the holiday golden week, and features various clam-based activities such as clam digging, free clam distribution, and cooking shows. UNESCO World Heritage tidal flats provide scenic backgrounds for events like busking performances.
