Upbit Teams Up with Papa John's for 'Pizza Day' Promotions

Upbit, a cryptocurrency exchange in South Korea, has partnered with Papa John's to celebrate 'Upbit Pizza Day' with a series of events and promotions. The initiative commemorates the first-ever real-world transaction using Bitcoin in 2010, known as 'Bitcoin Pizza Day', where 10,000 Bitcoins were exchanged for two pizzas. This year, various events will take place throughout May, including delivering pizzas to select workplaces on May 22 and hosting pop-up booths at six university campuses. Consumers can also enjoy discounts and receive Bitcoin gift cards through special purchases online. The collaboration aims to promote the tangible use of Bitcoin and digital assets.
