Korea Pavilion Curator for 2024 Venice Biennale: Choi Bitna Selected

Choi Bitna has been appointed as the art director for the Korea Pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale in 2024. Choi, a curator with a notable career including roles at the Gwangju Biennale and Singapore Biennale, will oversee the pavilion with a concept called "Liberated Spaces, Fortress and Nest." The exhibition will feature works by Korean artists Choi Goethe and Roh Hye-ri, aiming to transform the pavilion into a dynamic and inclusive platform. The event will run from May 9 to November 21, 2024, at Venice with various international experts supporting the selection process.
