After the Korean Lunar New Year ceremony, families can visit historic palaces and museums in Seoul. Until January 30, visitors can enjoy free entry to Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Deoksugung, and Changgyeonggung Palaces, as well as Jongmyo Shrine and Joseon Royal Tombs. Gyeongbokgung Palace offers special gifts like 'sehwa,' paintings for luck that were traditionally gifted by kings. The National Museum of Korea in Yongsan presents a special exhibition on Goryeo celadon, while other regional museums host cultural events, allowing visitors to experience traditional Korean games such as jegichagi (a shuttlecock game) and top-spinning.
