2025 Korea Art Festival Kick-off: Aiming for Global Reach Next Year

On August 29th, Yoo In-chon, the Korean Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, held the kick-off ceremony for the '2025 Korea Art Festival' at Art Korea Lab in Seoul. The festival is scheduled for September and encompasses various art events across the country, including 7 biennales, 3 art fairs, and notable exhibitions in collaboration with multiple organizations. The objective is to support and promote emerging Korean artists both locally and internationally, as well as to increase foreign visitors' access to Korean art through discounted tickets and special airport exhibitions. The festival promises a rich art-focused travel experience with guided tours and diverse exhibitions throughout Korea. For international guests, significant figures from the global art community will be invited to engage with Korean artists, enhancing global cultural exchange.
