Busan Concert Hall Grand Opening with Star-studded Lineup

Busan opens its first dedicated classical concert hall, Busan Concert Hall, with an 8-day inaugural festival starting June 21. The event features renowned artists such as conductor Myung-whun Chung and pianist Cho Seong-Jin. The Asian Philharmonic Orchestra, comprising leading members from top orchestras globally, will perform. Highlights include Beethoven's works directed by Myung-whun Chung and performances from celebrated artists like organist Cho Jae-hyuck and pianist Sunwoo Yekwon. The event concludes with Beethoven's opera "Fidelio" on June 27-28, involving major local choirs.
